About Us:

Powder Tools is a full service snowboard shop offering retail, rental, demo, and repair. The convenient location combined with our knowledgeable staff maximizes customers’ time on the hill. Powder Tools is the largest snowboard shop in town allowing us to offer great selection in retail as well as an extensive rental fleet.

Our knowledgeable staff will get you in the right equipment; but if you'd like to be sure and “try before you buy” we have demos representing most of the retail boards. And if you just want to fix up your current board our experienced repair staff will have your board ready to go by the next morning.

In addition we are located next door to our affiliate ski store Sport Stalker. Sport Stalker is the largest ski store in town and will accommodate any ski specific needs.

Powder Tools takes pride in being the most complete snowboard shop in town, with a friendly knowledgeable staff. Whether a beginner or expert rider our goal is to facilitate peoples love for snowboarding and grow the sport.

Powder Tools sponsor’s local promising riders of various ages who are good ambassadors of the sport; including Olympic hopefuls Matt Ladley and Maddy Schaffrick. Powder Tools also supports the local snowboard program of the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club.
